Tom Deniro Leaves SR, Starts Management Co.

CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Adult industry veteran Tom Deniro has left his position as sales manager for NinnWorx_SR to launch a new talent management company.

Deniro spent the last year-and-a-half working out of Spearmint Rhino headquarters in Norco, Calif., staying on with Ninn Worx_SR following the corporation's split with director Michael Ninn. Deniro has spent 15 of his 17 years in the adult industry working with Ninn, serving as GM and sales manager for Ninn Worx prior to the Spearmint Rhino merger in 2007.

"Being at the Spearmint Rhino was a great time. I left on my own accord. They took care of me like I was family," said Deniro. "It was a great opportunity. If I wanted to stay, there would have been opportunities for me."

His new venture is called Deniro Management, Inc., which is a company he formed to manage adult performers. He already discovered his first girl: 19-year-old Tenaya, who made her first appearance at the Fyre TV booth during at the 2009 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas.

"I'm looking for a couple other girls," Deniro said. "I'm not trying to be an agent."

Deniro said that in February he'll also begin working part-time for Black Market Films.

"I'll be working for Black Market in sales, four to five hours a day helping [owner] James Melendy," he said. "I was looking to do something with somebody in the Valley. I've known James for 15 years. He knows what I can do. He gets along with me. It fits."
