Titan Media Acquires MSR Catalog

Io Group, Inc., parent company of gay adult brands TitanMen, ManPlay and TitanMen Fresh, today announced that it has purchased and acquired all rights and interests in the catalog of films owned by Active Research, Inc., dba MSR Videos.

Titan Media has purchased all film rights and inventory assets and has licensed the MSR Videos trademark; no other rights or interests in Active Research, Inc., were included in the sale.

The purchase comprises all rights and interests in 42 feature length films, all associated photographic and graphic materials, and all existing product inventories. The films represent some of the highest-quality and most award-winning titles in the gay adult market.

MSR founder and director Tony Alizzi burst onto the scene in 1999, producing award-winning hits such as White Trash, Sex Pigs and the infamous Prowl series of leather films.

After Alizzi's death in early 2005, an additional four titles were released posthumously, going on to become some of the best-selling titles under the MSR label.

All titles will be available at retail at TitanMen.com. As the existing inventory of products under the MSR brand is sold off, all titles will be re-authored and re-branded under the TitanMen label.
