There's Still Time To Join Global Orgasm Day for Peace!

CYBERSPACE—This is probably more an everyday affair for porn stars, but we were surprised to learn that Dec. 21 is—and for the past four years has been—Global Orgasm Day for Peace.

Timed (unlike most December holidays) to coincide with the start of the winter solstice—which according to Wikipedia will be at 11:38 p.m. (though we're unclear which time zone that applies to)—the purpose of the celebration is, "[t]o effect positive change in the energy field of the earth through conscious dedication of orgasmic energy to the vibration of Peace. Our minds and our biology influence Matter and Quantum Energy fields, so by concentrating our thoughts before, during, and after orgasm on peace and loving-kindness, the synergy of high orgasmic physical energy combined with the power of positive visualization could help reduce global levels of violence, hatred and fear. Orgasm is the largest possible instantaneous surge of human biological and spiritual energies. It is a biological gift! What better way to achieve your resolution for Peace?"

Okay; so it sounds a little New-Age-y, but let's not forget that orgasms are fun, and they feel damned good!

So what should you do on Global Orgasm Day for Peace?

"Dedicate an orgasm for Peace," its website urges. "Practice as often as you would like! Especially on full moons, new moons, solstices and equinoxes, or when you remember! ... Practice, practice, practice (safely)! Tell all your friends about this website and encourage them to participate! Help this year be the biggest Global-Oh since we began tracking it."

Where?

"Everywhere in the world, but especially in those countries affected by war or violence—those most in need of peace."

Now that's not too much to ask, is it?
