Texas Town Divided Over Strip Club Dispute

A tiny North Texas town of only 50 people is divided over a legal battle between Marsha McKie, the widow of the town's co-founder, and Thomas Sinclair, the owner of Wispers Adult Cabaret, one of Mustang's only existing businesses.

According to a Los Angeles Times report, McKie wants to bring more family-oriented businesses into Mustang in an effort to rejuvenate the town. Locals fear that Sinclair might bring more adult-oriented businesses into the area.

Sinclair agreed to buy the town of Mustang for $600,000 from the McKies in 2005, but Marsha McKie's husband William died before the deal was officially closed.
