Teravision Adds to Directorial Lineup

Tera Patrick's studio Teravision has announced upcoming releases from several directors new to the company.

Ethan Kane, a protege of acclaimed director Michael Ninn, brings his skills to Teravision this month with the release of his latest title, Decadence. Describing the movie, Kane said, "It's sort of like a hybrid project. We tried to work within a limited budget, one that's smaller than what I'm used to working with, and that opened up some doors to trying some new things. I tried to switch the focus from being highly produced to having really intense sex…and at the end, joining the two together."

"[Ethan's] stuff is incredible," Sancho, a producer for Teravision, told AVN.com. "It's just huge and gorgeous."

Kane and Teravision will follow Decadence with Glamcore, another stylized effort inspired by a Victoria's Secret ad campaign with runway models. "We tried to do the same thing," said Kane, "but instead, these girls—who are all very tall and model-esque—do the runway walk and then come off the stage and do a very hot sex scene."

In August, Teravision will release the Asian-themed feature China Blue, the first movie in a multi-picture deal with award winning director Axel Braun. The son of Euro-porn legend Lasse Braun, Axel has shot for a number of production companies, including Hustler, Ninn Worx and New Sensations.

"As a producer, I can see that he's the most solid director I've worked with so far," said Sancho. "He's a one-stop shop…he puts all of the elements of a movie together himself, and he delivers a great product."

Veteran director James "Jimmy D" DiGiorgio (The Sopornos, Plaid) has also recently joined the company's ranks. Teravision plans to release DiGiorgio's American MILF in July.

"Jimmy D. brings a more story-focused angle to Teravision," explained Sancho. "He's a great storyteller, and he's been around for awhile and shot some amazing stuff for a number of different companies."

Director Vonn Fink has provided an alt-porn edge to Teravision with his latest Ultraviolet, which is available now, and the upcoming Skinn Kandy.

Sancho will be jumping behind the camera for his own directorial debut Ferocious, which is tentatively scheduled to drop in September. "I'll definitely be taking porn in the opposite direction that it's moving now," he said. "I basically took the cookie-cutter mold and broke it…and then threw it away."

Though new to adult, Sancho has worked on music videos for Korn, Limp Bizkit, Stone Temple Pilots and Jett. He said that after his debut, he will release one title per month for the company.
