PARAMUS, N.J. - Tera Patrick has nabbed the top spot on Genesis magazine's ninth annual "Porn's Hot 100" list, hitting stands in two weeks as a free supplement with the August issue.
Compiled by the Genesis editorial staff with help from select readers, fans and adult industry professionals, the list has proven to be one of the popular men's magazine's top-selling issues of the year.
The stars on this year's "Porn's Hot 100" were chosen from a list of over 450 adult film actresses. Genesis ranked the performers according to a variety of criteria including overall popularity, exposure, body of work, accolades and on- and offscreen accomplishments.
"Tera had a huge year in and out of adult," said Genesis editor-in-chief Dan Davis. "Between her best-selling movies like Reign of Tera 2, Teradise Island and inTERActive, her appearances on TV shows like 'Supergroup,' movie cameo in Blades of Glory, landing on the cover of FHM, and all of her media coverage no matter what the medium, this truly was the year of Tera."
This year marks the third time Patrick has landed the number one position. She made the top spot in 2004 and 2005, and was named "Best Newcummer" in 2001.
The top ten (in order) includes Wicked Pictures star Stormy Daniels, Digital Playground star Jesse Jane, Adam & Eve star Carmen Luvana, SexZ Pictures star Hillary Scott, 2006 winner Jenna Jameson, Jenna Haze, 'Vivid Girl' Savanna Samson, Digital Playground's Teagan Presley and newcomer Sasha Grey.
"It really means a lot to me to be selected for this honor," said Patrick. "I hope I can continue to stay on top and to grow in my career. I also want to congratulate everyone who made this very prestigious list. We are all stars!"
