CANOGA PARK, Calif.—AVN Hall of Famer Tera Patrick appeared before X-rated movie cameras Wednesday for her first time in six years, executing a non-sex cameo role for Axel Braun's This Ain't The Expendables XXX, his latest 3D parody for Hustler Video.
In an inspired casting gimmick, Braun placed Patrick in the part played in Sylvester Stallone's original by the one and only Governator, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Stepping into the shoes of Sly himself, meanwhile, is 2010 AVN Best Actress Kimberly Kane, with the rest of the crew filled out by 2011 AVN Best Actress Andy San Dimas, 2012 AVN Best New Starlet Brooklyn Lee, Kylie Ireland, London Keyes and Ana Foxxx.
Asked how it felt being back on a set again, Patrick cracked, "It's just like riding a cock!"
As to what lured her out of retirement, even if just for a bit part, she explained, "Axel and I go way back to the Teravision days, so when he called me up and asked me to do it, I couldn't say no."
For his part, Braun said it was a thrill working with Patrick again. "I remember the first time I saw Tera at the Cannes Film Festival 13 years ago," he reflected. "As she walked down the street, everybody turned their heads and their jaws literally dropped. Men, women, children. She simply had this aura about her, and she was just about the most beautiful woman anybody had ever seen. But that's not what made her a star. She became who she is because of her charisma, her personality, her approachability and her extreme professionalism."
Braun continued, "These are the qualities that propelled her to superstardom, and these are the qualities that she brought to my set for her special non-sex appearance in This Ain't The Expendables XXX 3D. She came prepared, happy, radiant. She delivered her lines flawlessly, gave interviews, signed autographs, chatted with the crew, and made everybody smile. And when she walked away, everybody turned their heads. After all these years, she still is the most beautiful woman anybody has ever seen."
Though Patrick agreed to this cameo merely as a one-time favor to Braun given their close friendship, she did reveal that she has a sequel on the way to her memoir Sinner Takes All, and that she has a "big announcement" coming at the end of this month.
This Ain't The Expendables XXX 3D is due out from Hustler Video September 30.
