Teacher Claims He’s Being Punished Over Colleagues’ Sex Tape

A special education teacher who said he found a video tape of two colleagues having sex on a school couch, now says he’s being punished for turning over the video to the principal.

Richard Gallo, of the Bronx, said he feels that he was relegated to the school district’s office after going to the principal of Stephen McSweeney School in the Bronx, with a sex tape of two colleagues who were married to other people, the New York Daily News reported.

The alleged tryst was taped two years ago by a camera set up by unknown persons in the school’s lounge.

The video is said to show Gallo’s former teacher’s aide and a childhood friend of his who is also a sex education teacher at the school.

Richard Krinsky, Gallo’s lawyer, said the 50-year-old Gallo mailed the tape anonymously, but later admitted he had sent it to the school’s then principal, Ilisa Sulner.

Krinsky said the suit accuses Sulner of unfairly reassigning Gallo to another part of the school. He also said Sulner filed a report, claiming that Gallo had “anger issues” that could turn “dangerous.”

Sulner, who is now an instructional supervisor with the district, did not return the newspaper’s calls. The Education Department’s spokesman would not comment.
