Stormy Daniels Appears In FX Network’s 'Dirt'

AVN Crossover Star of the Year nominee Stormy Daniels will be featured in a recurring role on the FX network TV series "Dirt."

Premiering at 10 tonight, "Dirt" stars Courteney Cox as Lucy Spiller, a powerful tabloid magazine editor obsessed with exposing the truth behind celebrity scandals. British actor Ian Hart (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone) plays a schizophrenic photographer who acts as Lucy’s sidekick.

“My character, who was re-named Stormy at Mike Moz's request, is hired by Lucy to set up a basketball player played by Rick Fox,” Daniels explained. “After he is blackmailed with the photos of us in compromising positions, the basketball star hunts me down. I don't want to give away too much, so everyone just has to watch. I am in a couple of episodes this season, and we are discussing the capacity of my character's return next season."

Daniels told AVN.com that one of the “compromising positions” involves her character wielding a strap-on dildo. Stormy is also featured in dialogue scenes with Fox and Hart.

"Working on the show is such an amazing experience, and I am so grateful for the opportunity,” Daniels said. “Courteney Cox is by far one of the sweetest and most down-to-earth people I've had the chance to work with. The quality of talent and celebrity that I am on screen with is mind-blowing!"

"Dirt" is not Stormy’s first foray into the mainstream. In 2005, she made a cameo appearance in the Universal Pictures comedy The 40-Year-Old Virgin. Daniels is reportedly set to return in a forthcoming sequel to the Steve Carell hit.

“It’s a huge honor,” Daniels said of the FX show. “They’ve included me in the trailers that are airing constantly on FX. It’s a great way to start 2007, which is going to be my biggest year yet.”
