CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Royalty X Films is living up to its name by offering performers a percentage of gross sales, starting today with the online release of Tennis Ballin'.
Co-owned by performer Alana Evans and her husband, Chris, Royalty X Films offers a unique business model aimed at the Internet consumer. Viewers can download complete new releases, including full DVD extras, for a one-time price of $5.95. The movies are only available online, and they are the only adult releases that pay royalties to the cast.
"I hope that by giving performers a percentage of the movie's gross sales, it encourages not only the cast to promote it but also the fans to buy it," said Alana Evans. "Anyone who purchases Tennis Ballin' is encouraging the idea of a new dawn in the industry where performers are rewarded and receive their dues."
