Roller Dollz Party at Roxy Tonight

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Roller Dollz, the high-budget Adam & Eve-Zero Tolerance co-production, will get a festive sendoff tonight at The Roxy on Sunset Strip in advance of its Sept. 9 release.

A cross-section of adult industry and music industry VIPs are expected at the party, which will climax with a performance by the Texas band The Mother Truckers, whose music is featured on the movie's soundtrack.

The party from 7 to 9 p.m. is invitation-only but the club will be opened to the general public after that. The Mother Truckers are scheduled to go on at 9:30.

Five of the movie's stars will be in attendance: A&E contract girls Bree Olson and Kayden Kross, ZT contract star Courtney Cummz, plus Alektra Blue (now a Wicked Girl) and Sunny Lane.

The Mother Truckers will be promoting their new CD, "Let's All Go to Bed," as well as the movie. Several songs were licensed for the soundtrack after Peter Reynolds, then A&E's vice-president of sales and marketing, met with the band last spring at South By Southwest in Austin.

Reynolds, who now has his own licensing firm, Plaid Bag Media, told AVN that the party is part of the months-long ongoing cross-promotion between the band and the film project. It kicked off in Las Vegas in July with a weekend-long party at The Palms Resort & Casino.

Two music videos shot in Texas, featuring the band, stars of the movie plus 14 professional roller derby girls, will be provided to major mainstream media.

At The Roxy, Deejay Hot Tub will supply music between 7 and 9. The event is being streamed live online at HunnyPotRadio.com. Co-sponsors are indie radio 103.1 FM and I-Porn.com.

Roller Dollz ships Tuesday, Sept. 9. For sales inquiries, e-mail [email protected].
