Pure Play Media has hired Bill Rix as the company's new Sales Manager.
Immediately prior to joining Pure Play, Rix worked as Director of Sales and Marketing for Danni.com. "We had used Pure Play as the distributor for our DanniHardCut line, so I got to know some of the Pure Play guys and worked with them," he explained, calling the new job "a logical step."
Rix's adult-industry resume also includes a brief stint at Elegant Angel. Before bringing his sales and marketing skills to adult, Rix was in the music industry for over 18 years, holding positions at Elektra Records/Warner Music Group, Skaggs Records, and independent record label KOCH.
In his new role at Pure Play, Rix will apply his marketing skills to the task of branding the company and its product lines. "Pure Play is the pre-eminent distributor in the adult industry, and I look forward to working with all of our customers to bring these great titles to the consumer," he said.
