Pulse Hires Amy Lew as VP of Acquisitions and Licensing

CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Pulse Distribution has hired Amy Lew as Vice President of Acquisitions and Licensing. Lew will oversee the expansion of Pulse's worldwide licensing of studio content, with an emphasis on broadcast, mobile and Internet VOD distribution.

"We're delighted to have Amy join Pulse," said Pulse co-owner Mark Hamilton. "Amy brings with her a wealth of experience in representing quality brands and has gained an excellent reputation with her customers in numerous territories."

Lew joins Pulse from adult industry agency Coastline Licensing, where she also held the position of Vice President of Acquisitions and Licensing.

"I am very excited about the great potential for growth at Pulse Distribution," said Lew. "They have already established themselves as the leading representative of adult studios in the DVD market, and I look forward to helping Pulse achieve the same growth in licensing."

Lew will primarily focus on Pulse's current studio line-up, representing over 50 studio brands across various formats. She will target additional content from studios outside Pulse where necessary.

"We now have such a diversity of titles and they cover so many niches, we're able to offer a customer almost anything that fits their needs," said Hamilton.

"In today's competitive environment, it's important to be able to offer as wide and varied a content line-up as possible," said Lew. "Pulse has a tremendous range of content from the studios it represents, but we will also add titles and series from other studios to complement that based on customer requests."

Lew can be reached at [email protected] or (818) 435-1600 ext. 111.
