Private, Bliss Party Celebrate Breakout Film of the Year in Vegas

LAS VEGAS—Join Private Media Group and Bliss Party to celebrate a stimulating collaboration of sex, art and culture—An Open Invitation: A Real Swingers Party in San Francisco—the feature-length adult film produced by Kink.com in association with Private Media Group. Open has been nominated for 11 AVN Awards, including Best Feature.

Private is celebrating the success of its breakout film of the year with a potent cocktail of intellect and eroticism at AVN. Open has been on the Best Sellers list since its release and has won accolades as the year’s best and most innovative film.

The company is sponsoring a rooftop panel Friday, Jan. 7, that is open to the public. The panel will feature Best Director nominee Ilana Rothman, Best Actress nominee India Summer and the rest of the award-winning cast. Moderated by Carol Queen, founder of the Center for Sex and Culture, the panel discussion will address the making of Open as well as the many issues associated with modern relationships.

The panel also will feature the founders of LifestyleLounge.com, widely considered the most premium Lifestyle site in the United States. Open stars will be available during and after the panel for questions, signings and general mingling. The highly acclaimed film, which addresses the growing tendency towards consensual sexual independence among modern couples in long-term relationships, has not only been touted as a seminal work in adult cinema, but it has also been applauded for its honest and relevant perspective on this controversial sociological shift in sexual politics.

The film marks the directorial debut of Bay Area native filmmaker and Wellesley College graduate Ilana Rothman, and stars one of the most dynamic performers working in porn today, talented writer and feminist Lorelei Lee, who is currently pursuing her MFA at NYU.

When: Friday, January7.

Time: Panel presentation: 6:30–8:30pm; Party: 9pm–2am.
