LONDON – Fresh off their debauched visit to the San Fernando Valley, the creators of Porn Week have announced their search for a reality TV star.
The UK-based Porn Week offers XXX vacation packages to sexually adventurous tourists, taking civilians behind the scenes of adult productions in Europe, the Caribbean and the United States. Founder/director Dave West documents the tours on video, using the content as the basis for his website and a reality series currently in its third season on Bravo TV Europe.
The 12-part series — three half-hour episodes per “Porn Week” trip — discovers previously unknown talents from city-streets as they are exposed to porn scenarios, such as the Porno Disco featuring live sex on the dance floor.
“This is a chance for average people to discover a hidden side to themselves,” said West. “They’re possibly a porn star in the making, maybe a hot new director or just a wide-eyed voyeur discovering a previously unknown sexual side to their psyche. We want more though, so I'm offering anyone who comes on the next ‘Porn Week’ trip their chance to impress me and earn their fifteen minutes of fame."
West has lately teamed with Scottish director Gazzman of Harmony Films, whose ultra-hard gonzo movies are distributed in the U.S. by Evil Angel. Gazzman directs the porn shoots, while West heads the reality TV crew.
“You always worry when you invite a television crew behind the scenes of porn,” said Gazzman. “I mean so many times you see how television can distort the porn world, but this bunch are different. They soon saw that Porn Week is a one-hundred percent positive experience where everyone has a great time and get to hang out and party, too."
The most recent Porn Week tour hit the Valley this summer. West and Gazzman brought along British nymphet Nikki Jayne, who wrapped several scenes on the trip for the forthcoming hardcore epic, The Initiation of Nikki Jayne.
