Pleasure Productions Makes Move With 100 Catalogue Titles

Pleasure Productions is dropping 100 of its titles to catalogue prices. Included are releases from studios Simon Wolf, Outlaw Productions, Plum Productions, and Pleasure (including the Jules Jordan-directed series Live Bait and New Breed).

Founded in 1987 by brothers Frank and Michael Kay, Pleasure Productions has built one of the largest libraries of adult content by acquiring studios and titles while, simultaneously, producing its own popular and best selling features (Sexy's Back, Looker, A Clockwork Orgy).

"This operation is pretty extraordinary," Frank Kay told AVN back in January. "We've probably bought 15 to 20 logos and company names during the past twenty years. And, it's all here. I think we probably have the biggest library in the world. Right now on DVD we have about 3,000 titles. Existing in our library, however, is close to 7,000 titles. And, we're going to transfer more of the VHS stuff onto DVD."
