Playboy TV Appoints Bryan Postlethwait as Senior VP of Programming

Bryan Postlethwait has been named Senior Vice President of programming for the Playboy Entertainment Group. Postlethwait will now oversee the planning, production, acquisition, coordination and scheduling of all content targeted to the TV and DVD markets across the company.

Postlethwait joined Playboy as a consultant in June of 2006, overseeing the re-design of Playboy's Spice Digital Networks and the creation of the Club Jenna Channel, Fresh!, Spice:Xcess and shorteez.

"We're happy to have Bryan join the Playboy team," said Bob Meyers, Playboy's media president. "His creativity and wealth of experience in both mainstream and adult programming are an asset to the company and reflected in the new SDN channels."

Before joining Playboy, Postlethwait spent five years working at New Frontier Media, where he headed programming and promotions, earning several Gold and Silver Promax/BDA awards for his work. Prior to that, he was in charge of on-air promotions at the powerhouse KCNC-TV NBC/CBS in Denver, winning a Heartland Emmy in the "Image: 30" category as well as a Heartland Emmy nomination for "Best Sport Image: News Topical."

Postlethwait graduated from Youngstown State University with a BA in Fine Arts and emphasis on Speech Communications and Theater.
