'Pirates II' Cast Draws Record Crowd at Hustler Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD — Hundreds of fans mobbed Hustler Hollywood's flagship store on the Sunset Strip Thursday night to meet the stars of Digital Playground's Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge.

Jesse Jane, Jenna Haze, Stoya, Riley Steele, Evan Stone and Tommy Gunn signed autographs and posed for photos with customers.

Stone was decked out in full Captain Edward Reynolds regalia, complete with a large sheathed sword dangling from a strap across his bare chest. Even the male fans in attendance asked Stone and Gunn to pose with them in pictures.

Pirates director and Digital Playground co-founder Joone told AVN the reception was overwhelming.

"It's kind of the icing on the cake for me," Joone said. "They just told me they've never had so many people turn out to an event before. It's very gratifying to know that this movie and this cast has touched so many people that they will come out on a night like this and want to meet the stars and get the movie. I was trying to make the movie better than the first one, but people have just been blown away by the second one, saying it's so much better, so I'm just very blessed to be getting the kind of numbers we're seeing, the response we're getting from people who've seen it. It's been quite overwhelming."

Asked whether he'd seen such a response to a movie before, Stone told AVN, "Yeah, but it was Jaws!"

This signing kicked off a worldwide tour scheduled to run through next May, with stops in Berlin, Amsterdam, Miami, Cannes, Houston, Phoenix, Anchorage and dozens more.

The Pirates II cast will appear tonight at Hustler Hollywood's San Diego store.

Other adult personalities at Thursday's signing included Hustler VP of operations Theresa Flynt, performers Jack Lawrence and Rick Patrick (Jeese Jane's husband), director Jules Jordan and actor James Bartholet.
