Though it may be hard to get a valid certification to act as a Professor of Seduction, Kim Airs is using precisely that moniker as host of the latest addition to the reality show genre, Mr. Romance, currently airing on the Oxygen Network. Airs, owner and “Proprietrix” of Grand Opening (with locations in Massachusetts and Los Angeles), teaches the fine art of seduction to a group of lucky chaps competing to be the next Fabio-like romance novel cover model. Also, the real Fabio will be featured to help crown his muscular, longhaired successor.
Self-proclaimed sexpert Airs had a great time taping the 10 episodes.
“It was a blast,” she gushed. “In fact, pretty much all guys can use tips on seducing a woman, and these guys were eager to win the prize. Plus, I was working with Gene Simmons [executive producer] and Fabio, so that was cool.”
Some of the seduction tips taught by “Professor Airs” include the importance of good eye-contact, sensuous kissing, gentle nibbling on a woman’s body, stimulating caressing, appropriate dirty talk, and how a guy can honestly but safely answer the dreaded girlfriend query, “Do I look fat in this dress?” And, no, the correct response is not, “Yes, but not as fat as you look when you’re naked.”
Mr. Romance airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on the Oxygen Network.
