CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Ninn Worx has released The Challenge, the first volume in director Phillipe Soine's 'Games of Perversion' line for Woodman Entertainment.
With almost 20 years of experience in the European adult industry, Soine is best known for fulfilling his sexual fantasies in front of the camera. The director's new series explores "the sexually offbeat and original."
"Believe it or not, I have a dark side," laughed Ninn Worx President, Michael Ninn. "Some will be very surprised at the recent additions to Ninn Worx distribution catalogue, and I think it will be a nice surprise for the extreme hardcore fans out there. Woodman Entertainment is turning out many strong titles that speak to the deviant sexuality that so many of us embrace. Some of it has even shocked me, and I consider that a very good reason for Ninn Worx to introduce this line into the North American market.
"I have never stepped back from pushing the envelope on any form of sexuality portrayed within my own directorial efforts," continued Ninn. "As Alfred Kinsey put forth, the only unnatural sex act is that which you can't perform. I admire any director that embraces that theory."
The Challenge stars Renata, Kathy Anderson, Sheridan, Anife, Kat and Morgan Moon.
In stores Wednesday, The Challenge is the second title released through Ninn Worx' distribution deal with Woodman Entertainment.
Ninn Worx and Woodman signed the exclusive agreement in March, under which Ninn Worx assumed distribution of all Woodman Entertainment titles in North America. The Challenge is Ninn Worx' second release under the deal, after unveiling the big-budget feature, Xcalibur last month.
"Xcalibur has been selling amazingly well," Ninn Worx General Manager Tom Deniro told AVN. "Especially since it's going at such a high price point, as well as it being the summer, which is not the busiest time for adult. Sales have exceeded our expectations so far, and we're really happy to have Woodman aboard. He's a big name in the industry."
Woodman Entertainment's other lines include David Perry's hard-edged Anal Gate, U.S. director Ricky Wrecker's Sex Carnage, and Pierre Woodman's SeXXXotica.
