LOS ANGELES - Director Bill Lustig will introduce a midnight screening of his 1977 XXX feature The Violation of Claudia Saturday at the New Beverly Cinema.
The Violation of Claudia features Sharon Mitchell in one of her earliest starring roles. The rarely screened movie is one of two hardcore porn flicks Lustig directed under the name Billy Bagg before moving on to direct the infamous horror film Maniac and other indie features.
The screening is the latest in a series organized by Brian Quinn, who runs the New Beverly's ongoing Grindhouse Film Festival with Eric Caidin of Hollywood Book and Poster and Grindhouse Releasing.
