After only four months distributing his own movies, Michael Lucas of Lucas Entertainment announced July 30 the formation of Lucas Distribution Inc. to handle wholesale distribution of other producers' movies as well.
"Because our distribution department proved to be very efficient and successful," Lucas told AVN.com, "we have decided to help out some other companies whose titles are not properly represented in the market."
The first non-Lucas Entertainment title to be distributed by the new company is Lucas Kazan Productions' Backstage, available September 17.

"Much like any newborn company, Lucas Distribution is full of ideas and quite eager to succeed. I wouldn't expect anything less from Michael Lucas and his longtime commitment to quality video-making."

Other American and European clients currently in negotiations with LDI, will be announced as they are signed.
All Lucas Entertainment titles are available from LDI. The newest, Lost and Michael Lucas' Auditions 2, will be available October 1.
