Adult-actress/entrepreneur Taylor Wane is tackling the big issues in a monthly Web column on AVNinsider. Wane’s World debuts today at www.avninsider.com.
Wane promises to use her years of experience on both sides of the camera to deliver the straight dope on the jizz biz to porno newcomers, veterans, wannabes, and fans.
“I’m really excited to be joining the great columnists at AVNInsider,” Wane told AVN.com. “AVN is a respected magazine and Insider is a great site for people to find out about all kinds of things in the industry, and it’s exciting to be part of that…I’m trying to reach everybody, really. Anyone who might find something helpful or entertaining from what I have to say.”
Wane promises to bring her years of expertise to her new venture. “I have a lot of experience on both sides of the camera, dealing with a lot of different situations,” Wane said. “I have a lot to bring to the table. I do a lot. I get out there. I’ve been in the industry for 15 years, and I’ve been a model for 16. Not only am I an entertainer, I run a couple of different businesses. I’ve been running my photo studio from almost 10 years and now I have the movie company too.”
Although Wane is leaving herself open to discuss any aspect of adult, she promises to keep things on the positive tip. “I’m the Oprah of porn. I don’t want to say anything that’s going to put me in shit.” Wane told us. “It’s going to be a rant. Whatever I’m feeling at the time I sit down to write, I’ll write about. Even if I talk about a subject, I never want to offend anyone. It’s all lighthearted chatter. If someone is offended, they have their blinders on. Maybe they need to take another look at the world and learn something from what I’m saying.”
