Adult film actress and California gubernatorial candidate Mary Carey will appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno tonight.
"It's an historic moment for Mary Carey and Kick Ass Pictures in that, as far as I know, it's the first time a porn star has been on the show and been identified," Kick Ass Pictures president Mark Kulkis said. "Mary plans to give Jay a humorous scolding for making so many jokes about her in his monologues."
Carey will appear on the show with scores of other California gubernatorial candidates.
"The Tonight Show is going to be really fun," Carey said while getting her makeup done at NBC Studios in Burbank this afternoon. "I wish I could be here alone, but all in due time."
Last night Carey attended the 55th annual Emmy Awards, walking down the red carpet in a powder blue satin halter dress.
"The Emmys was the most fun thing I've ever done other than run for governor," Carey said.
