Combat Zone owner Dion Giarrusso has named Marcelle LeBlanc as the company's new General Manager.
"I've been doing everything from production to sales here, so I needed help – and Marcelle is the perfect person," Giarrusso told AVN.com. "Marcelle is going to help me with everything including production, domestic and foreign sales, and making our website a little more streamlined and useful."
"I've always loved Dion; we're like family," LeBlanc said. "I had been a buyer for a couple of websites, and I worked for Dion for two-and-a-half years when he started Red Light District. After he sold that company, I went to Pure Play and was head of sales for Private. When he started Combat Zone, we stayed in touch. We've been talking for a few months, and I'm very happy to be here."
Combat Zone currently issues three to four titles per month. "I don't want to flood the market," Giarrusso told AVN.com. "Our numbers are pretty amazing for a new company."
Combat Zone's recent releases include Naughty Amateurs 2, starring Ashlyn Brooke. "The reorders and sales have been great," Giarrusso said. "Ashlyn is so beautiful that Scott Taylor from New Sensations put her under contract."
