Lux Kassidy No Longer Waiting to Xhale

Xhale Glass, a U.S. manufacturer of boutique-quality, glass and adult toys, recently signed Lux Kassidy to a one-year contract as the company's spokesmodel. In addition to attending trade shows and events with Xhale, the 21-year-old Southern California native is designing a line of toys for the company, slated for third quarter 2007 release.

"Basically, it's just me designing the shapes and colors," Kassidy said. "They asked me to create ideal toys for me, ones that I would use, and they're going to mass produce them."

For a relatively fresh face in the adult industry, Kassidy has quite a résumé under her belt, appearing in the pages of such magazines as Hustler, Penthouse, and Club. In addition to print work, Kassidy made a splash on video, starring in Sunny & Cher and Lux's Life from Vivid Entertainment in 2006.

"I got out of the hardcore work for now to concentrate more on modeling this year and I will be the face of the Hustler apparel catalog," she said. "I was with [Hustler] at the MAGIC Show in Las Vegas and represented the company at the grand opening of their casino in Gardena. I will also be signing at any shows Xhale is doing in the coming year, like Erotica LA."

Going into its fifth year of business, Xhale continues to brand itself on a grass-roots level solely through trade show presence, handshakes, and face-to-face contacts.

"Having Lux with us this year [at the Adult Entertainment Expo] was wonderful," said Adam Burns, president and chief executive officer of Xhale Glass. "Lux is a high-class girl who is a perfect match for what Xhale stands for and, most importantly, is able to attract that crossover audience that we need to capture."

Although Kassidy will be the face of Xhale in 2007, her agreement with the company will allow her to continue to work as a freelance model. "Lux has a wonderful career ahead of herself," Burns said. "Xhale wants to be supportive of her future modeling opportunities. Our arrangement is one which gives us both the ability to further develop ourselves as brand names."
