Lux Kassidy makes her adult film debut in the new DVD from Vivid Entertainment Group called Lux’s Life.

The 21-year-old beauty performs scenes with Samantha Ryan and Chloe Dior in the feature, which also marked her first time having sex with girls.

“It’s basically like a reality DVD,” Kassidy told in an exclusive interview. “They go with me on my first porn set. I had never done any girl/girl stuff, not even in my personal life. So I do all these girl/girl scenes, and do the interviews and you can tell I’m nervous the whole time.”

Kassidy signed what she called a temporary contract with Vivid to do this feature and the upcoming Sunny and Cher, and she said that now she would be interested in a yearly deal. The Orange County, Calif., native decided to start a career as a performer during the 2006 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas, where she was signing for Swiss Labs, a company that makes male enhancement products. With help from her friend, Vivid Girl Sunny Leone, Kassidy made contact with Vivid producer Shylar Cobi and then eventually met with co-chairman Steven Hirsch.

Kassidy came to Vivid with a rising profile as an Internet and print model, landing layouts in 2006 issues of Hustler (April and October), Club (January), Club International (July), Taboo (October), Rock Star (September) and Penthouse. She also made the cover of Exposed, which is now Rock Star, along with Leone in December 2005.

“I knew [Vivid] was the No. 1 company and that’s why I went to them,” Kassidy said. “I knew exactly what I wanted to do and I went in there representing myself. I didn’t go in there all oblivious to everything. Nothing was a surprise.”

Kassidy said that she is only focused on girl/girl work for Vivid.

“They’re the only company I would want to work for. I definitely have an interest in still working with them, and I’m still doing my normal modeling stuff,” said the 5-foot-7, blue-eyed starlet.

In September, Kassidy is booked to shoot for a fashion calendar in Montreal, as well as host a fashion show and do runway modeling for Juicy Couture.

“They just found me on the Internet and really liked me,” Kassidy said.

So did the producers of the Warner Brothers feature film Beer Fest who hired her to be on the all-girl, Swedish drinking team. She teased viewers in a tiny bikini, and even had a scene where she distracted the Mexican team by flashing her chest.

“The whole filming part of it was fun, but being in Albuquerque, New Mexico for two weeks wasn’t. They were 16-hour days.”

It’s quite a change from her most recent mainstream job in which she worked at a real estate office. Kassidy has also worked at a restaurant and a doctor’s office, but now she’s starring in two high-profile adult movies.

“It’s exciting. I can’t wait, I’m nervous and excited at the same time,” she said. “It’s definitely different, and a big step. It’s something I never even thought I would do.”

She takes her unique first name from Kirsten Dunst’s character in the movie Virgin Suicide, while her last name is inspired by a character on “Nash Bridges.”

Kassidy can next be seen playing the role of Cher opposite Leone’s Sunny in Vivid’s Sunny and Cher. Lux's Life is available now through Pulse Distribution.
