Limited Number of AVN Awards Show Tickets Available

CHATSWORTH, Calif. - The remaining tickets to the 2008 AVN Adult Movie Awards are currently on sale to the public. Held Saturday, January 12, 2008 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, this year’s ceremony commemorates AVN's 25th anniversary.

Tickets are now on sale for $107, and are available through Ticketmaster or the Mandalay Bay Events Center Box Office.

In addition, for all those attending the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo on January 9 – 12, tickets can be purchased at the AEE Fan Box Office located in Hall G of the Sands Expo Center. The Box Office will be open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday only.

"We always get a huge number of fans attending our event,” said Sean Devlin, spokesperson for AEE. “They come in droves to see their favorite adult stars, get their autographs and participate in all the excitement. And what better way for fans to end their Las Vegas visit than to be a part of the AVN Adult Movie Awards? They can watch first-hand as the studios, producers and stars receive their well-deserved awards.”

Adult superstar Tera Patrick and comedian Greg Fitzsimmons will host the 2008 AVN Adult Movie Awards, which honor the year's best performers, movies and companies in adult entertainment. Howard Stern's Artie Lange and Bubba the Love Sponge will make special appearances; Dave Navarro will host the red-carpet show; Jenna Jameson will present The Jenna Jameson Crossover Star of the Year Award; and thousands of adult celebrities will be in attendance to celebrate 25 years of AVN history. Entertainment will feature comedy sketches and an original dance performance produced by John Stagliano.

“The show has become much bigger than an industry event and it has been crossing over into the mainstream,” said Paul Fishbein, AVN president and founder. “At the Mandalay Bay Events Center, every seat is a good seat. The amphitheater setting helps everyone have a perfect view and though the table seating is for the industry only, there are great seats to be had at lower prices than previous years.”
