Kimberly Kane Dispenses Morphine in Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD — Director/performer Kimberly Kane hosted a party Tuesday night at Hollywood's Beauty Bar celebrating the release of her latest Vivid-Alt movie Morphine.

Throughout the evening, a makeup artist was on hand to paint black eyes onto guests' faces for a party-capping "black eye beauty pageant" that Kane announced was intended as a nod to "how white trash this movie is."

Contestants included performers Mandy Morbid, Icarus Corpse and April Flores (the latter of whom does a scene with Kane in Morphine), as well as Kane's own sister, Katie Jo. Morbid was declared the winner by applause, and crowned with a silver tiara.

Guests received copies of the Morphine DVD and other items, including baggies filled with (empty) black capsules. Also in attendance were Vivid-Alt head Eon McKai, Vivid-Alt directors Winkytiki and Vena Virago, Morphine cast member Julius Ceazher, directors DCypher and Carlos Batts and performer Aiden Starr.
