Jenna Jameson to Host Pre-Show of Spike TV’s Video Game Awards; Nominated for Award

Jenna Jameson will be the host of the pre-show for the first annual Spike TV’s Video Game Awards on December 4, welcoming celebrities including performers Pamela Anderson, L'il Kim, DMX and David Spade as they show up for the main event.

Jameson isn’t just a host though – she’s also an award nominee in the "Best Performance by a Human" for her part in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. She’ll be competing against the likes of Christina Aguilera, David Duchovny and Snoop Dogg.

That same role won Jameson a Glow Award at the G-Phoria Awards on G4, a television station dedicated to gaming, earlier this year.

Other celebrities planning to attend or perform include P.O.D., Kelis, Andrew W.K., members of the WWE: Smackdown vs. RAW teams, skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, DJ Funkmaster Flex and Bubba Sparxx.

Last year Jameson had characters in the top two best selling video games - Grand Theft Auto and Tony Hawk 4. She is in development on her own video game for release in 2004.

Online voting will determine the winners for the Video Game Awards, and gamers can cast ballots on www.SpikeTV.com.

The pre-show begins December 4 at 8:30p.m. with Spike TV’s Video Game Awards  show immediately afterwards, running from 9p.m.-11p.m.
