PULLMAN, Wash. - Christopher Jack Reid (a.k.a. performer Jack Venice) posted the required bail Thursday of $200,000 to Whitman County police in order to be set free until standing trial for burglary and second-degree rape, according to the Associated Press.

Reid pled not guilty Wednesday evening to the charges, which surround a Washington State University student who alleged that Reid and another WSU student, Kyle Schott, broke into a room where she was sleeping early Sept. 13 at the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority house and, she believes, sexually assaulted her.

In addition to his bail, Reid was required to provide a DNA sample. He is being represented in the case by Chris A. Bugbee of Spokane.
