India Releases Debut Album

Moving from adult starlet to rap vixen and record company owner, India has announced the launch of her debut album.

Entitled Role Play, India’s inaugural solo effort contains ten musical tracks, two interludes and, as India puts it, is a personal diary of her many personas that she portrays both in life and on screen.

“I named my album Role Play because I role play in my everyday life. I have three different personalities – the diva, the bad girl and the ghetto girl. Role playing is a normal thing for me and this album is about me, my life, and the experiences I have had so far,” said India.

India went on to say that the first 200 fans who purchase the album will be invited to attend India’s Role Play Launch Party to be held in Los Angeles, June 28 at Basque. Fans who purchase the album but do not live in the Los Angeles area and are not able to attend the launch party will receive a personal phone call from India herself, thanking them for their support.

India said that a nationwide tour is planned to support the album which will take her to adult shops, record stores, and strip clubs across the country. Tour dates will be announced soon.

India, who also owns and operates independent record label Black Widow Entertainment on which Role Play is being released, was previously an exclusive contract girl for Video Team for five years, and has been involved in the music since early on as a member of several girl groups. Her vocals have been more recently been featured on the movie Walking Tall starring The Rock.

Role Play is available today and may be purchased online at www.myspace.com/indiasplayhouse or www.indiasplayhouse.com.
