IVD Sets 'Roma' Release Date

HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. - IVD has set an April 24 street date for Roma, a big-budget hardcore feature that marks the first domestic release for European studio Daring Media.

Set in the decadent Roman Empire and described as "a passionate drama about the odysseys of love, sex and war," Roma was directed by Italian maestro Antonio Adamo. The movie stars Isabella Ice, Dora Ventor, Tristan Segal, Oliver Sanchez and George Uhl.

IVD is excited about its relationship with Daring Media, the video production arm of retailer Beate Uhse. The distributor plans to release more than 10 titles from the Euro-porn studio in the next six months, including Bondage Thoughts (due out May 8.)

"They've done a great job making high-budget pictures using incredible locations and gorgeous girls and steaming hot sex," said IVD head Frankie Kay. "Take a look at the credits for each film:  the number of people in their movies is just amazing."

Adult retailers will receive a free diorama display and poster for Roma with the purchase of four DVDs.
