BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Hustler Video is continuing its run of TV sitcom spoofs with porn versions of "Get Smart" and "Gilligan's Island."
Director Stuart Canterbury wrapped production on Get Smartass this week, cashing in on this summer's big-screen remake of the '60s television series. The feature stars Kayla Paige, Britney Amber, Eden Adams, Envi, Veronica Jett and Veronica Rayne.
"We always like to work on something comedic, and this show was such an obvious target for parody," said Canterbury, who scored a recent hit for Hustler with the Eliot Spitzer satire Gov Love. "We were able to build sets which matched the look of the original, and the girls could really get into the parts as evil seductresses. It is full of hot sex, but it keeps you laughing; we laughed when we made it."
Director Anton Slayer begins shooting This Ain't Gilligan's Island XXX next week at LFP Studios. Slayer directed This Ain't the Munsters XXX for Hustler earlier this year.
This Ain't Gilligan's Island features Anthony Rosano as Gilligan, Ryder Skye as Ginger, Sindee Jennings as Mary Ann, Jack Lawrence as the professor, Darryl Hannah as Mrs. Howell and Dick Nasty as Thurston Howell III.
Both productions share a surprising star: veteran porn actor/director Rod Fontana (he's the Skipper in "This Ain't Gilligan" and the Chief in "Get Smartass.") Fontana was last seen in the news touting himself as a born-again Episcopalian preacher to the New York Times.
Get Smartass is due for August release on standard DVD and Blu-ray disc. An advance trailer is available on YouTube.
