Larry Flynt has added a store in Tempe, Ariz., to his thriving Hustler Hollywood franchise. The Tempe store is Hustler’s 12th in the chain.
From 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 20, Flynt will make a personal appearance to celebrate the grand opening of Hustler Hollywood Tempe. Flynt will be bringing three Hustler Honeys to the event: Memphis Monroe, Mya Luanna and Nikki Nine, all of whom are exclusive contract performers for the company.
In compliance with city regulations, the store will carry adult-oriented merchandise in 30% of its floor space to qualify as a retail business. Tempe’s development services manager Chris Anaradian told the East Valley Tribune that “We don’t have the ability, nor do we attempt to discriminate ... if they fall within the law.”
Hustler’s director of marketing Chris Mael told the Tribune that the company will continue to expand the retail business to encompass 30 locations by 2010. According to Mael, Hustler has not encountered opposition to the store from local residents.
