Homegrown to Host Treasure Hunt at Internext

Homegrown Video will be hosting an invite-only treasure hunt at this year’s Internext Show in Las Vegas (Jan. 15-17), in honor of the company’s 25th anniversary.

Homegrown President Farrell Timlake told AVN.com that the company was wondering how to spice up the webmaster party at an Internext show in Florida last summer, when they decided on a “treasure hunt” theme.

“The party was a huge success with the attendees, who were sent on fun adventures throughout the hotel,” explained Timlake. “Revelers took hilarious advantage of the lack of rules and earned fun prizes, including cash.

“Homegrown Video is all about bringing pleasure and business together in unique ways, and this is one of the best ways we've come up with yet."

Hot Movies and VideoSecrets are co-sponsors of the hunt.

“I couldn't have had more fun if I was tied to five strippers and dropped in a vat of Jägermeister,” said James of Hot Movies. “The Homegrown team really knows how to market their product and show their affiliates a good time. We look forward to continuing our business together and sharing more fun in the future.”

The tasks from the previous Homegrown treasure hunt were everything from taking a picture with a Homegrown hottie to finding out how many videos Homegrown has in its library.

“[Last year’s] treasure hunt was not only fun, but by breaking people up into random teams trying to achieve the same goal, you really are able to make new friends and business associates,” added Anh Tran of Wantedlist.com.
