Heather Hunter Plugs Novel on AOL

LOS ANGELES - Former Vivid Girl Heather Hunter discusses her new autobiographical novel "Insatiable" in a Q&A feature on AOL's Black Voices Blogs.

Synopsizing "Insatiable," Hunter explains that the main character, Simone Young, "runs to the world of fame, because she has this insatiable desire to be famous and at the same time to be loved. She winds up in porn... and goes through these trials and tribulations of trying to find love in all the wrong places. At the same time, she becomes an amazing, big, top adult star and breaks into the mainstream entertainment business. It's very steamy -- very titillating."

On her 2003 induction into the AVN Hall of Fame, she says, "That was amazing. I was like, 'It took a long time, it should have happened earlier.' But at the same time, I'm happy and blessed that it did. It's a high compliment."

A link to an excerpt from "Insatiable" is also included in the feature, as well as one to a video of Hunter speaking about her favorite song, TLC's "Waterfalls."
