BDSM production house GwenMedia is going it alone, having decided to distribute its videos from in-house after a four-year partnership with Bizarre Video.
The move comes as the result of continued growth by GwenMedia over the time they were affiliated with Bizarre, according to a statement from GwenMedia president Robert Zak.
"We greatly appreciate the time and effort that Bizarre has put into our success," Zak said, "but now it is time to cut the cord, so to speak."
The GwenMedia product line will remain the same, Zak said; it simply will be shipped directly from the GwenMedia distribution center. In addition, a new sales representative, Joe Reyes, will be overseeing the new distribution arm of the business.
"Our catalog has grown to nearly one hundred titles, with four new releases each month," Zak stated. "We are committed to producing the highest quality specialty films available anywhere."
