GAYVN First Presenting Sponsor of The Money Shot Report

In a joint press release, GAVYN Magazine and The Money Shot Report announced today that GAYVN has signed on as a presenting sponsor for the upcoming pilot episode of the weekly Internet program that covers the gay adult industry and its stars.

Money Shot creator and Executive Producer Brett Drysdale said, “GAYVN was the first prospective sponsor I approached. I couldn’t be happier or more gratified at their quick response to our proposal. Their sponsorship demonstrates their company and brand’s support for this revolutionary idea. The Money Shot Report is as much for the industry as it is for the viewers. Its mission is to showcase and celebrate the depth and diversity of the gay adult industry and to entertain and inform the gay market about a company’s brand, products, and upcoming plans.”

"With the growth of the Internet and its importance to significant markets that are ignored by mainstream media, The Money Shot Report is an idea whose time has come," said GAYVN Publisher Chad Beecher. "GAYVN is pleased to be a presenting sponsor of this venture."

The Money Shot Report is set to air in July on numerous gay adult websites with streaming capability. “For the pilot, the end-users of the original programming are receiving the show free of charge," Drysdale explained. "The purpose of this is to reach a large, diverse group of sites in order to build the audience base and provide needed exposure for the ultimate success of the weekly series."

Money Shot will feature industry news, top sales and rentals charts, magazine and Internet coverage, celebrity interviews, company profiles, behind the scenes/ on the set coverage, event coverage, in-depth reports, and international coverage.

Show host Brad Benton offered an idea of what viewers can expect in terms of content. “We’ve just returned from covering the Grabby Awards and IML in Chicago," he said, "and over the next two weeks we'll be getting footage of Chi Chi LaRue's new club, Dirty Deeds at Fubar, and Cocktails With the Stars in West Hollywood. Plus we will be out and about over Gay Pride Weekend hunting down and interviewing the porn stars who have come to Los Angeles for this event, then we'll fly to San Francisco, of course, to cover our porn buddies up there.

"For the pilot," Benton said, "two of our big segments will be our summer movie preview — porn, of course — and "Where the Boys Are," what the porn stars are up to this summer both professionally and personally.”

Thor Stephans, the show's director and producer added, “Gay porn is a genre that runs parallel to the mainstream entertainment industry. There is currently nothing out there that highlights the best of this vibrant industry in a visually fun and entertaining way.”

There are four levels of sponsorship available for the pilot episode, said Drysdale: Presenting Sponsor, Segment Sponsor, Brought-to-You-By Sponsor, and Contributing Sponsor.
