Southern California native Nikki Knightly has been doing boy/girl scenes since spring 2015 after starting as a model. "I've been modeling for five years. My first shoot was a lingerie shoot, then I started doing nudes. Went into nude modeling. I started meeting porn people. As I got more comfortable, I started doing more things like solo scenes." On the mainstream side, she was a model on the GSN body-painting competition Skin Wars: "I was on the first season, and my artist won. The longest night I worked was 14 hours. I was getting painted for five to eight hours, and it was like 30 degrees in the studio and I'm butt-naked, covered in paint, with heels. It's literally cold water that they're painting you with."
"I love having sex," she says matter-of-factly about her career choice. "It's definitely an adrenalin rush, having sex on camera. I definitely get something out of it, not just the pleasure. Maybe it's the attention. I love the attention. I also love seeing the end result. Watching the movies. I'm not going to sit there and masturbate to my own scenes—I've tried, but it's weird—but I love showing my scenes to my friends. It's exciting to see how excited they get." She says her best scene so far is "also my favorite. It was for Teen Fidelity, with Ryan Madison, and it's called Women of the Middle East. It's been out for a while. It was well shot with the lighting and the color scheme."
Knightly plans to stay a performer for five years, if not longer, "and I plan to get as much out of the industry as I can. There are specific career choices that, if you do porn and it catches up to you, it would be bad. For me, I'm an artist and I know my passion is art. I'll just open my own art gallery and sell my own stuff. I want to be able to use the money I save from porn to do something else. I might just use that money to start my own art thing."
