AVN Hall of Fame performer Francesca Lé will release Munch Box, her first directorial project for Platinum X on Friday.
"It's all girl/girl...with some group scenes," Lé told AVN.com. "We got some of the top girls: Paulina James, Annette Schwartz, Adrianna, Tory Lane. It's a really good cast."
Lé said her decision to work with Platinum X was an easy one. "They offered it to me," she said. "And they have no female directors there anymore. Everybody's gone. So I'm a good addition to filling that void."
The idea to do a girl/girl movie was Lé's way of creating something uniquely her own. "It was my way of doing something that's completely mine," she said. "It's not like I'm taking over something that already existed…although I'll be taking over some series like Mommy Fucks Best and Black Dick in Daddy's Daughter. But Munch Box is my own series that I've started."
Lé professes to like the genre. "I love doing girl/girl movies," she said. "It gives me the opportunity to use girls that I don't get to use a lot. And also, I can hire friends and girls who do really good jobs."
The deal between Lé and Platinum X didn't happen overnight. According to Lé, "We started talking about this back in October or November of last year and we started shooting the movie back in January."
In shooting Munch Box, Lé aimed for variety. "There's a wrestling scene. And there's some crazy stuff from Adrianna Nicole, Annette Schwartz and Lorelei Lee. You have to let them do what they're going to do, you know? Tory Lane and Lindsey Meadows did a juvenile delinquent/cop scenario. And Audrey Bitoni and Paulina James are my femme girls who look pretty and soft and don't get crazy or outrageous in their scene.
"We've got something for everybody," promised Lé.
