LAS VEGAS – Pennsylvania telephone lineman Chris Bellis won AVN Hall of Famer Sunset Thomas’ contest to find a male partner for her final porn scene in Vavoom Media's Into the Sunset. The Vavoom Films contract star embarked on the search for the “perfect penis” earlier this month and the lucky winner was chosen last night during the final elimination party at Las Vegas' Olympic Garden.
Thomas' fans packed the house – some to vie for a chance to win and others to watch – as Johnson was plucked out the crowd and put through an interrogation by Thomas.
“I’m so stoked,” Bellis told AVN. “I completely adore Sunset. I was coming out for AEE with a photographer friend and they convinced me to go ahead and give the contest a shot, because I’m single. After winning, I got a chance to sit down and talk with and she’s just amazing.”
If Bellis fails to perform, contest runner-up Stephen McGrews will step in as the pinch-hitter.
“Sunset has always been a trendsetter,” said Vavoom Vice President Kent Wallace, “and so she really wanted to end her career with a bang. It was her idea, and she had a lot of people whispering in her ear about who to pick, but she went with this guy because she just really liked his spunk. I think it’s great that there’s a guy like Chris who is going to be involved in porn history, and never might act in another porno again. I also think it’s great that Vavoom has come out of the gate with something this noteworthy.”
When asked if he was nervous at all about the upcoming shoot, Bellis replied, “I’m up for the challenge, for sure. This scene is really going to be all about Sunset, I’m just the lucky fan who gets to be involved. I intend to treat her like a lady.”
Into the Sunset is slated for release later this year through LFP Video.
