Evil Angel Launches Prime Evil Imprint

VAN NUYS, Calif. - Evil Angel has launched Prime Evil, a new label created specifically as a showcase for high-end, story-driven hardcore features. The imprint debuts this month with four big releases.

Rocco Siffredi's Furious Fuckers: Final Race is the first Prime Evil title to hit the market. The sequel to Siffredi's motorcycle-revving opus was shot on location in Budapest, Prague and Rome, and hit stores yesterday.

The most highly anticipated title on the Prime Evil slate is Fashionistas Safado: Berlin, the final film in EA owner John Stagliano's celebrated Fashionistas trilogy. Following central character Antonio (Rocco Siffredi) into the underground S/M realm of Safado (Nacho Vidal), the epic clocks in at almost five hours and also stars Katsumi, Belladonna and Melissa Lauren. Described in an EA press release as "Stagliano's most ambitious work," Berlin is due out Sept. 28.

With the end of one trilogy, the beginning of another will surface this month with Justin Slayer's feature directing debut, Merc. Out Sept. 21 in a two-disc set, Merc stars Slayer as a street hustler in a classic gangsta tale of murder and double-crossing.

AVN Hall of Famer John Leslie makes a long-awaited return to features with the Mafia thriller Brianna Love, Her Fine Sexy Self. Leslie appears in the film as the lead don, and also composed and performed some of the soundtrack music offered on a separate CD in the two-disc set. Brianna Love, Her Fine Sexy Self streets Sept 26.

All Prime Evil releases will be packaged with a cardboard O-sleeve sporting a silver foil banner. Trailers will be posted for each of the titles above prior to their shipping dates at www.evilangel.com.
