European Firm Targets U.S. Adult Studios

Denmark-based Global Business & Investment Corporation is targeting U.S. adult studios willing to move overseas to avoid regulatory problems due to federal record-keeping requirements.

“With the last year’s massive focus on the adult industry from, both, the FBI and other government agencies in the USA, we think it is time for the adult industry to act… It’s time to consider moving business to a more friendly business environment,” said Rene Holmgren, Global's director.

He explained that his company would provide the assistance needed to find a suitable location, move and begin operations in the continent.

Holmgren added that Europe has no record-keeping laws and that many countries are eager to attract more business, regardless whether its porn or not.

“In a country like Denmark, where porn was legalized in 1969, there are no regulations on the production of porn,” said Marc Duvall, owner of Denmark-based Pinelake Productions.
