DOWNTOWN L.A. - Entertanium, a relatively-new production facility in the industrial district south of the 10 freeway, held an introductory party Thursday night. The 20,000 square foot facility offers a number of small picturesque rooms for video production as well as dressing rooms and backstage facilities. Rooms include a nightclub/bar with adjacent disco floor (with DJ booth), a well-equipped dungeon, a doctor's examining room with examining table, a '60s themed living room and '30s bedroom, a locker room and an office filled with cubicles. The facility is a swingers club on weekends, so there are also comfortably-appointed rooms for multi-partner sex, including "The largest padded playroom on the West Coast," according to owner Lynn. The space can accommodate 200-250 couples for a party, Lynn adds. rnrn

An open bar and large buffet spread welcomed guests from the adult and swingers communities. "The Stage closed, and this place just turned up," said director Roy Karch, who shot Hotel O 2 here. "It's very shooter-friendly, and the people are sexually progressive - it's not like some guy who rents you his house." Veteran performer Layla Jade and newbie Autumn took to dancing on the brass poles in the disco, overlooking the bar. "It's the best workout, better than a gym," she said later. Autumn, who has worked as a dancer in her native England, took a practiced turn on an adjacent pole as well.rnrn
