Eddie’s Kids Casino Night Set for Friday, Oct. 12

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - Goalie Entertainment founder Eddie Wedelstedt will be the guest of honor at the annual Eddie's Kids Foundation Casino Night on Friday night at the Universal City Sheraton Hotel.

“There’s going to be great food, great drinks and great friends,” Eddie's daughter Beverly Wedelstedt told AVN. “We’ve already recieved a lot of great items to auction off, so it looks like it’ll be a wonderful evening.”

Eddie's Kids is a charity co-founded by Wedelstedt that works with an extensive list of organizations to help underprivileged children attend professional sporting events with their families, in order to foster quality time that will benefit their future.

“We always want to emphasize that we are the only nonprofit organization that we know of, that for every dollar we receive, we give three back,” added Beverly Wedelstedt.

The Casino Night will start at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails, followed by dinner, gambling and an auction from 7:30 on. The event is open to adult industry friends, colleagues and anyone else who wishes to join the festivities.

As part of the auction, a 1989 black 12-cylinder Jaguar with 20,000 original miles and an updated stereo system will be offered, plus some opulent jewelry, sports packages, vacation packages and a number of other items.

According to Beverly Wedelstedt, the newest Eddie’s Kids sponsorship book will also be released that night, and be available for everyone.

Those interested in attending can RSVP to Beverly Wedelstedt at (303) 570-2051 or via e-mail at [email protected].
