VAN NUYS, Calif. - Digital Playground has issued its acclaimed adult blockbuster Babysitters on HD DVD in anticipation of increased consumer demand for hi-def porn.

With prices for HD DVD players dropping to $100 at Wal-Mart and Best Buy, Digital Playground is stepping up its hi-def release schedule to eight movies per month. According to DP publicist Adella O'Neal, the studio will simultaneously release new titles on standard and HD DVD in early 2008.

"We've been shooting in HD for four years, so we have a lot of great catalog titles ready for HD DVD release," said O'Neal. "We aren't going to package the two formats because we want to be able to gauge the market for HD DVD."
