Performer-turned-director Devinn Lane's MILF Makeover Contest is headed to Denver this weekend with starlets Sydnee Steele, Kim Chambers and Chasey Lain in tow.
Denver's premier gentlemen's club La Boheme (www.labohemegc.com) is sponsoring the MILF contest. Steele and Lain will be dancing at the club's official pre- and after-parties for this weekend's Sex and So Much More show at the Colorado Convention Center. Lane, Steele and Lain will also be joined by Chambers during the adult convention, as the quartet will have a booth and be available for autographs.
The MILF Makeover Contest is slated to take place on Saturday at 10 p.m. Denver will be the final stop of a six-city tour for the competition, before Lane and her six semi-finalists proceed to the finals on May 7-8 at Hedonism III in Jamaica.
"The major sponsors, Connection Online, Coquette, Wet International and Hedonism III have really pulled out all the stops for this contest," said Lane. "It's been well received in every city and Playboy TV covered the event in Los Angeles. The interest in this contest by sexy MILF's and new sponsors has been so overwhelming that plans for future events have already been set into motion."
Lane began developing the contest in January 2006. The first round of the competition took place in Dallas this past August, with subsequent rounds held in Detroit, San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York City.
"I only take twelve contestants in each city, and there's never been a shortage," Lane told AVN.com. "Basically, this contest is geared toward women who don't get the opportunity to do this every day. These are regular, everyday MILFs off the street, not porn girls. Adult stars get to sit in a makeup chair, look pretty and be glorified for everyone around them all the time– these women normally don't get that opportunity. I'm really happy to provide that opportunity for these ladies, being a MILF myself."
Lane said that contestants are judged on appearance, personality, and overall energy. The top three contestants are chosen by celebrity judges from the adult industry, with the crowd's vote determining the winner of each round.
"I've had girls who have never gone topless in public go totally nude," Lane laughed. "I've also seen all kinds of acrobatics that you usually see only in porn movies, which really surprised me."
The final winner receives a free day with a makeup artist, photographer and videographer who will shoot the makeover. She will also receive an edited copy of the video, gifts from contest sponsors, and $3,000 worth of cosmetic or breast implant surgery.
