David Lord Releases Official Statement

LOS ANGELES — An official press statement released on adult director David Lord's behalf concerning his arrest last Wednesday refutes any connection between Lord and a Porn Valley prostitution ring.

Lord was arrested on charges of perjury for making false statements on a marriage application. His bride, Hungarian woman Agnes Jeges, was arrested the same day on the same charges. According to court documents, Jeges was part of a brothel run out of a Sherman Oaks apartment complex by fellow Hungarian Angela Csutai, and married Lord in order to secure a green card.

The statement from Lord's camp follows:

"Recent news reports have been published relating to David Crawford a.k.a. David Lord claiming that he has been involved in a prostitution ring operating out of the San Fernando Valley. Those statements are false and have absolutely no merit. Mr. Crawford has not been charged or alleged to have been involved in any prostitution ring by the U.S. Government, or by any other authorities.  Mr. Crawford has been charged with perjury regarding matters that are unrelated to prostitution charges by the government against third parties. At this time, he is unable to comment upon those allegations."

Lord's attorney, Anthony Brooklier, Esq., told AVN that no further comment would be issued at this time.
