Dana Vespoli Warns About Casting Call Email Scam

LOS ANGELES—Dana Vespoli has issued a warning that someone has been sending fake emails to performers pretending to be her and asking the recipients how she can contact them for more details.

The emails read, “This is Dana Vespoli, multi-award-winning porn director / actor. Would you be interested to join my cast for my upcoming parody? How could I contact you for more details?”

Vespoli is now asking that people exercise caution and not reply to the emails should they receive one.

“I don’t know who is sending these out, but it is not me,” she said. “This isn’t how I do business.”

The incident recalls a similar situation in May when someone sent out emails pretending to be Axel Braun that attempted to solicit info from porn talent.

“The best idea is to talk to your agent,” Dana suggested. “If I am contacting you personally via email we probably already have a relationship and you know that it’s me.”
